Launton Gavray Association

Launton Gavray Association

Following a period of hibernation the Association HAS BEEN restarted.

The Relaunch Evening on Saturday 22nd Jan confirmed the view of many that it would be great to restart.

It is open to all age groups, and you do not need to speak French to join. It is a great way to meet new people in the village.

There is a
Facebook site, so why not become a member of it to keep up to date with things.

The CONFIRMED programme is as follows: Dates to be confirmed for 2011

Thursday 17th February 2011:  General Meeting.

This will be your opportunity to have your say as to membership fees if any, and we are of course looking for new people to come onto the committee.

Saturday 19th March: Frog Drive. A French twist on the old favourite Beetle Drive at the Parish Hall.

Weekend of 29th April to May 2nd, (Royal Wedding Friday, and Mayday Monday), Trip to Champagne, by private cars, with a route and recommended Hotel.

Friday 24th June 2011: Boules. Parish Hall Car Park.

Saturday September 24th: Visit to Westonbirt or National Arboretum by coach.

Saturday 19th November 2011: Wine Tasting at the Parish Hall, with a professional wine master.

It was agreed to sponsor up to 8 'youngsters' £50 each to go on a trip to Gavray, to be organised by themselves and people in Gavray. This would be a car trip 4 per car.

Relaunch Event Success
