In the mid to late 1980's Bicester was home to many motor
racing teams. Names such as March, Reynard Racing, and Leyton House to name but 3.
Designers and employees of these
teams were often to be seen on a Friday lunchtime at the Black Bull.
The walls of the pub became a sticker board
for many of these teams.
The photos below (courtesy of Bob Roberts) show these walls before the pub underwent a
re-fit in June 2010.
Whilst these are of course now gone, the new decor gives a nice light and airy feel and is
definitely worth a visit for any motor racing fan, or anyone else for that matter.
