On
September 26 from 12:00 – 16:00, the Launton Plotters are holding an Open Day
and everyone is welcome to come and see what we’ve been up to since mid-May.
The day will be opened by a member of the Deeley family, in recognition of the
generosity they have shown throughout the setting up of the site.
There
will be some fun stuff like
- Fancy Dress
competition for under and over 5’s
- Treasure Hunts for
kids and grown ups
- Raffle
- Barbecue
- Best Scarecrow
competition
- Various allotment
prizes
- Anything else we
come up with in the meantime!!!!
The Vicar will
bless the allotments
There
will be a presentation to the Launton School pupil who designed the winning
logo for the Launton Plotters – and
prizes (donated by Homebase) for the runner-up too! All of the entries
will be displayed around the site on the various sheds.
Gardening
staff from Homebase will be on hand to answer horticultural questions.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE BIG GATE WILL BE LOCKED TO EVERYONE –
PARKING WILL BE SIGNPOSTED IN THE VILLAGE OPPOSITE THE CHURCH
